Kellyn's 10th Birthday Party and Birthday Weekend

We celebrated Kellyn's 10th birthday on Friday, October 7, with a good old fashioned mall scavenger hunt! She had that Friday and Monday off from school for Columbus Day.

One of the things on the list was to get a sample of ice cream and a sample spoon. While we were at Ben & Jerry's getting said items the girls were talking about going to the Nestle store and getting the sample cookie on their list. They guy behind the counter over heard them and informed us that Nestle had gone out of business due to an increase in rent. He then offered them some cookie dough since he didn't have any cookies!

One of the things on the list was to get a sample of makeup but this really nice lady at Merle Norman gave each one of the girls a mini make over complete with glitter eyeshadow and lipgloss!

Here they are a little over half way through with the scavenger hunt!
We finished up then headed to Grimaldi's for pizza!

Then played a little outside while we waited for Chloe's mom.
Then we headed back to the house to decorate t-shirts with t-shirt markers.

Kellyn wanted to make her own cupcakes this year. They were lemon flavored!

After singing happy birthday the girls played upstairs singing Karaoke and doing each other's hair. Then they watch Alice in Wonderland Through the Looking Glass. The weir one with Johnny Depp.
Abby was the only that was able to spend the night and we had birthday donuts in the morning!

The brothers spent the night at my parents house so after Abby went home on Saturday morning Max and I and the girls met them up at the property in Loving, Tx. where we carved pumpkins.

and shot guns. :)
